My second race, with teammates Renata Osika, Krzysiek Pakulski, and Maciek Piechocinski, and support crew of Karol Czarny (my brother), Adam and Agnieszka Kuzmicz. The format was 36 hours non-stop, with disciplines being trekking, mountain biking, rappeling, and canoeing.
There was 48 teams starting, of which 22 finished the race. We crossed the finish line unranked officially, in 23rd place, with a time of 35 hours and 38 minutes. We were unranked because one of my teammates had a knee injury and could not continue for the last 1/4 of the course - the official rules are that an entire team must finish together in order to be counted.
The highlight of the race was the canoe section: we were dragging our canoes over rocks for about 4-5 hours in the night, because the riverbed turned out to be very rocky with little water (ususally ankle-height).
