Gros Morne National Park

In the first week of September 1999, me and my brother Karol have done a small roadtrip, going from Toronto to Quebec City to Gros Morne park in Newfoundland, and back. Spent 2 days in Quebec City, which I liked a lot for its old, European style. The more exciting part of the trip was Gros Morne, though. One reason were the breathtaking views and how it felt being there on top, the other might have been the fact that I forgot to bring my tent! It was the only time in my life that I actually lost all power of speech for about 30 seconds, when I realized that we just drove over 2,500km and didn't have the tent. Now I know exactly what it means to be stunned. But we built a shelter, and even though the campsite was only a few kilometers away from the shore of Atlantic Ocean which made for very strong and cold winds, everything worked out pretty good.

Coming back home...
